For Datacard Group systems: SD260, SD260L & SD360, to delete a print job that is stuck in the print manager queue do the following:
1. From command prompt, run “net stop spooler”
2. From Task Manager, end the print filter pipeline process (printfilterpipelinesvc.exe)
3. From command prompt, delete all files in c:\windows\system32\spool\printers
4. From command prompt, run “net start spooler”
**An alternative to Steps 1 & 4 is to stop the print spooler service and then restart it. Go to Control Panel- Administrative Tools- Services.
**An alternative to Step 3 is to use Windows Explorer to get to the directory containing the files to delete. Go to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS.
Note: Printfilterpipelinesvc.exe is a Microsoft driver component for XPS drivers and as long as it is running the spooler will not shut down.
