Unfortunately, no matter how wonderful your card printer has performed in the past, or is currently performing, the time will come where it is going to wear out or stop working. Nothing technology related lasts forever.
It is important to be prepared. We’re not saying you have to go out and buy a “back-up” printer in case the one you have now “kicks the bucket.” We do suggest setting contacting a Card Tech ID representative to discuss whether your card printer is eligible for an extended warranty plan, loaner printer coverage, or even begin the planning process to prepare funds for a replacement card printer.
If you cannot be without your card printer, extending the warranty or adding loaner printer coverage is highly recommended and reasonably affordable. Even if you did not purchase your card printer through Card Tech ID, you can still purchase extended warranty coverage with us.
