Card Tech ID announces enhancements to TEMPbadge® expiring visitor badges

Updating a technology that has been innovating in the Visitor Management market for more than three decades, the enhanced TEMPbadge visitor badges offer more accurate expiration, a more vivid expiration indicator and more.

TEMPbadge expiring visitor badges use a patented migrating ink technology to show an expiration indicator (usually a series of red lines) after a half-day, one day, three days or seven days.

The badges are designed to provide fast, visual verification that the wearer’s time on-site has expired.

TEMPbadge expiring visitor badges are valuable to a variety of different industries, including healthcare and education.

The enhanced TEMPbadge visitor badges feature a newly patented technology that fine-tuned the existing technology to create a better product for all TEMPbadge users.

Enhancements include:

Zebra: Transition to Complete Line of Environmentally Friendly Cartridges

Zebra announced that the closed-frame ribbon cartridge currently associated with ZXP Series 3 standard capacity ribbons will transition to the same open-frame cartridge style used with ZXP Series 3 high capacity ribbons. This change will occur on December 31, 2014.

Please note there will be no changes to your part numbers. No price changes. The cartridges will still be a Load-N-Go drop in style for easy ribbon loading and unloading.

This change is to only impact the amount of material used. Less material. Less waste. The new ribbon cartridge design will utilize less plastic. If you are currently using ZXP Series 3 high-capacity ribbon cartridges, they will continue to utilize the open-frame cartridge style.
